Terms of service
Draft, pending review.
Last updated 18 October 2026. These terms cover your use of cascodex.com, the Cascodex API, the CLI and the GitHub Action. By signing in you agree to them. How we handle your data is in the privacy notice.
A beta service
Cascodex is in beta. It is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Features, limits and quotas may change, the service may be interrupted, and we may end the beta. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Your account
- You sign in with a Google account, and you must be at least 16 and able to agree to these terms.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account and its API keys. Keep keys secret, and revoke one in Settings if it may have leaked.
- If you use Cascodex for your employer, you confirm that you may accept these terms for them.
Your designs are yours
You keep all rights to what you upload (netlists, testbenches, specs and notes) and to what Cascodex makes from it for you, including results, reports and proposed design changes. You let us store, process and simulate your files, and send them to the providers listed in the privacy notice (Anthropic only when someone runs an analysis), solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your designs and do not use them to train AI models.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- Upload netlists, models or other files you have no right to use or share, such as a design or a commercial PDK under a confidentiality agreement that does not allow it.
- Try to break out of the simulation sandbox: run commands or read files through a netlist, get around the netlist checks, or attack the service or its providers.
- Try to reach another organization's data, or another user's account.
- Overload the service, get around its rate limits and quotas, create accounts in bulk, or resell access.
- Use Cascodex for anything unlawful.
Found a security problem? Tell us at hello@cascodex.com and do not test it against other people's data.
Results and engineering judgment
Results come from ngspice and the device models of the process you choose. The analysis agent's proposals are checked by simulation at every corner of your spec, but simulation is not silicon. Review every result and change yourself before you rely on it for a tape-out or a product.
Suspension and closing accounts
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk, with notice when we can give it. You can stop using Cascodex at any time and ask us to delete your account.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, Cascodex is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business, arising from the service. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars.
Changes to these terms
We will post changes on this page and update the date above. For a significant change we will tell signed-in users by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Cascodex after that, the new terms apply.
